I Had a Blog in 2009. Now I Have a Frying Pan and Feelings.

What a trip! I was trying to set up this blog on WordPress only to realize that I would have to buy a paid plan to add a custom domain, which I (read: can’t) don’t want to do. So naturally, I looked up a site that would let me host for free, and *drums* I found my way back to my old friend Blogger!

Google auto-logged me into my old blog (2009 old, like old old), and I died a little. My bio read:

“I am 18 and confused about rest of the things”

— SAME GIRL. SAME.

Except I’m 32… 33 in a week.

I am as millennial as they come. One day, I will channel my inner granny and share all the early Internet wisdom I’ve gathered over the years. Anyway! I digress. The point of this blog is to rant about life and cook off the frustration.

I’m no chef, food influencer, or culinary expert. But I enjoy cooking, and I refuse to let my hobby die a silent death caused by the self-imposed barrier of “perfection.”

But honestly, this isn’t going to be solely about food. It’s going to be everything.

I can’t tell you what-all exactly — but some days I might post about AI & LLMs, and other days about my wavy hair routine, or what it’s like to live in the US as a student on OPT.

So stick around. I would love for you to share the trip with me :)

There will be food. There will be feelings. Sometimes, there will be fire.

This is LilBitSalty. Recipes? Nah. Vibes.
